How a Zymbria candle comes together

Process at Zymbria

Sourcing

We look for botanical extracts and plant waxes from suppliers who can tell us where the material came from. If the answer is vague, we keep looking.

Blending

Each scent is built in small test jars. We burn them for days in different rooms, write down what we notice, and adjust the proportions.

Pouring

Wax is melted slowly, held at a steady temperature and poured by hand. Wicks are centered and trimmed by eye, then checked again once the wax has set.

Resting

Candles rest for two weeks before we evaluate them. The scent settles, the wax cures, and only then do we decide whether a batch is ready.

Materials

What goes in, in plain words

Plant-derived materials. Our blends are built from botanical extracts and plant-based waxes. We list what goes into every scent and avoid ingredients we would not want in our own homes.

Small batches. Each batch is poured by hand in quantities we can check one by one. It is slower, and it lets us notice when something is not right.

Honest descriptions. We describe scents by what they are made from, not by the mood they are supposed to create. You decide how a room should feel.
